Back on the trail

Through the San Antonio Library's website I just spent some time looking through some census records.

I am working on the new revelation that Dr. T.S. Jones is the son of Thomas S. Jones in Twiggs County, Ga.

No luck today. I could not find what I was looking for in the 1870 census.

Putting my faith in the Census

I know I should not have done it but I had two census records that said so and so I believed it.

For years I have labored under the impression the the father of my great-great-grandfather, Thomas S. Jones, was Elias. I knew Elias has a brother named Thomas but I did not see in the census that my great-great-grandfather lived there.

Back up and running

Last night I finally got the application to hit that database. Now I need to make the site look nicer and add more documents.

It has been frustrating dealing with this issue. I was happy to find out that it was not my coding but a error on the company that hosts the site that prevented the database from working. I am not happy though with the service.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve the site, please let me know.
